Operation Flag |
We have two important, worthy events coming up this Memorial weekend, so please plan on attending both events if possible. Operation Flag and the Memorial Day Parade give the Scouts two opportunities to honor all those who have and are serving. Details below.
5/28: Operation Flag. This is one event not to miss and we need the support of the whole pack. This takes place at Union Cemetery on the West side of Olentangy River Road. You should plan on arriving at 8:30 AM and meeting in the center of the cemetery by the flags. Flag placement starts at 9 AM and usually takes about 2 hours. Any questions please contact Kelly @ sellerskd11@yahoo.com.
5/30: Worthington/Memorial Day Parade. Meet up on the East side of Hartford Park by 9:30 AM. Parade starts at 10 AM. Parking near the park is very limited and fills quickly. The Parade ends at Chase Rd on High south of Worthington. You can park at the end of the route and walk or call pool up to the start of the route but again parking is limited. Be sure to bring a water bottle as well. Any questions Please contact David McCoy @ eaglescoutmccoy@gmail.com
