Tigers from Den 5 visited the zoo on April 24th to complete their Tiger Adventures requirement. The visit was organized by Den Leader Alycia and by a parent, Trisha, who works for the zoo. As a special treat, Trisha let the Tigers hang out at Stingray Bay and pet the rays before their official event started. That was a huge hit with the boys!
Zoo staff led the event, which included a hike and tour, looking out for animals and plants and trees, making biodegradable plant pots, and meeting some of the zoo animals. It was a really fun day.
