Two Big Events This Weekend!

Operation Flag

We have two important, worthy events coming up this Memorial weekend, so please plan on attending both events if possible.  Operation Flag and the Memorial Day Parade give the Scouts two opportunities to honor all those who have and are serving. Details below.

Spring Campout Wrap-up

This weekend was the annual spring camp-out. Around 100 people (Scouts and their families) came to the camp, which included a ceremony celebrating the Scouts achieving their Ranks.   Some families camped on Friday night, with most arriving Saturday afternoon for dinner, the flag raising ceremony, and then the Pack meeting. The Pack meeting was a really fun event, circled around the campfire, where the Scouts did skits and were then rewarded for completing their requirements and achieving their Rank.
Following is a series of photos from the event. Congratulations to all Cub Scouts. Have a great summer!

Tiger Day at the Zoo was a ROARING Success!

Tigers from Den 5 visited the zoo on April 24th to complete their Tiger Adventures requirement. The visit was organized by Den Leader Alycia and by a parent, Trisha, who works for the zoo. As a special treat, Trisha let the Tigers hang out at Stingray Bay and pet the rays before their official event started. That was a huge hit with the boys!
